Sun Country Highway is excited to participate in a pilot project in Ontario with Petro-Canada, a Suncor business.  Five Petro-Canada company owned retail locations along Highway 401 are now offering electric vehicle (EV) charging stations – providing travelers with the most powerful Level 2 charging station available on the market, Sun Country Highway's SCH-100.

“Sun Country is proud to inspire global change with creative initiatives such as this Petro-Canada pilot project, to bring about a more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable future” - Christopher Misch, Executive Vice President and COO, Sun Country Highway.

Long distance EV travel in Ontario is easier than ever with free charging and 24 hour service at:
• 3305 Dorchester Road, Dorchester, ON
• 235 Steeles Avenue East, Milton, ON
• 3100 Ellesmere Road, Scarborough, ON
• 638 Country Road 41, RR#6, Napanee, ON
• 1586 Centennial Drive, Kingston, ON

“It’s important that we continue to meet the driving needs of Canadians,” says Deborah Gullaher, vice president, marketing, Suncor. “By installing electric vehicle charging stations at select retail locations, we are able to learn firsthand about this emerging market and our customers’ needs.”

Plan your trip and find Petro-Canada EV charging stations on Sun Country Highway’s charger map (online, mobile and Navigator app) as well as the location finder on Petro-Canada website.

Sun Country Highway charging stations use the J1772 universal plug, which is compatible with all plug-in electric vehicles.
